About Acme Records
Acme Records opened its doors on October 6th, 2012 by longtime record collector Ken Chrisien (known in the community as Shopkeeper Ken). We opened with the intention of providing a diverse range of music at a fair price. We never overcharge for what we sell, and we always pay the best price when we buy your records.
Acme is a place where anyone can come in to check out new music, sell their collection (yes, we make house calls), or attend a show when the shop transforms into an intimate music venue.
Our number one goal is for everyone to feel welcome in the shop, no matter who they are. We pride ourselves on being a committed member of the community. We are open, honest, inclusive & fair in all aspects of what we provide to our customers, and are always here to help if you have any questions.
What We Do
We buy & sell a large selection of new & used records (LPs & 45s), CDs, cassettes, and even some hard-to-find 78s. This runs the gamut of rare and collectible to budget-friendly albums in our new Budget Annex. We guarantee everything that we sell in the store & offer full replacement (whenever possible) or full refund if replacement is not possible.
